What is Chiropractic treatment?
Chiropractic is a primary health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. It also examines and helps rectify the effects of these disorders on nervous system function and general health.
Chiropractic treatment can help with acute pain. It is also a proactive and non-invasive approach to enhance health and well-being. In other words, it fine-tunes the body so it works at its absolute peak. Chiropractic is a safe, gentle, and effective approach not just for the relief of pain and discomfort. In short, millions of people every year maximise their health and well-being with chiropractic treatments.

Paul Hadfield
chiropractor
Since 2003, I’ve loved seeing the positive impact of chiropractic treatment on my patients. From helping someone reach their athletic potential, getting someone back on track after a work injury, or helping a 90year old patient stand up and go for a walk, the opportunities are endless and the results can be profound.
To get the best out of my patients I use a wide variety of techniques such as joint manipulation, massage, dry needling, taping, and exercise rehabilitation. Educating patients about posture, exercise, healthy eating, and quality sleep is a big part of my treatment. I have a keen interest in running injuries and helping people to run efficiently and injury-free.
It’s a pleasure coming into Gymea Allied Health every day. We have a first-class team that achieves brilliant results with their patients on a daily basis.
I try to practice what I preach and keep as active as possible. I love running, particularly ultramarathon distance, and am always looking for a new mountain to climb!
Other than that, you’ll find me playing guitar with my 2 beautiful daughters or sharing a glass of wine with my amazing wife Beck.
